Trustees and Committee Members

Meet some of the people helping to bring the people of Twydall closer. Join the committee and help us make our Community Centre the best hub possible.

Ann Harris - Chair and Trustee

Having been retired from accounts office work for 15 years, Ann got involved with lessons at the dance school at Twydall Community Centre about 8 years ago. It was an out of the blue appointment as chairperson for the committee. Dancing has been Ann's sole exercising & social life for all those years when it was announced that the hall would close, if committee members & trustees resigning were not replaced. Ann felt the need to keep the hall going, so she jumped in to help.

Roger Joyce - Treasurer and Trustee

Roger became the treasurer of the Twydall and District Community Association in 2006 having served as a committee member for some time. His duties are to process all financial affairs for the association and he is responsible for collecting in all the hire fees, ensuring that funds are available for paying all the bills to run the community centre, banking, keeping accounts and making them ready for audit by the accountants. Roger is also one of three Trustees of the association.  As a trustee he must ensure that the association runs the community centre to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Twydall and the neighbourhood in accordance with the association's constitution.

Graham Down - Secretary

Graham has been wargaming at the club since 1982 and was invited onto the committe of the hall in 2010 as secretary - responsible for minutes and as the wargames club rep.

Elena Mutter-Child

Originally from Spain, she is a resident of Twydall and loves Medway minus the weather. She also volunteers at Parkrun Great Lines regularly.
